1) Research Scientist

Description: Candidate provides senior consultation to top management engineering and technical experience to design, develop, integrate and deploy signal process and digital image processing algorithms. Knowledge of high performance compute architectures and environments necessary for complex digital signal processing performance. Responsible for conduct of algorithm testing and ability to assess performance against phenomenology. Ability to perform duties and responsibilities independently and within a team setting and convey highly complex technical content with customer and user community.

  • Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Processing – min. 15 years exp.
  • SAR Phenomenology – min. 15 years exp.
  • Signal & Image Processing – min. 15 years exp.
  • Advanced degree and 18+ years of experience or bachelors with 20+ years of experience or equivalent

2) Algorithmic Software Engineers

Description: Successful candidates are capable of design, development, integration, testing, verification, evaluation and/or troubleshooting of algorithms and software code. Ability to interpret complex algorithm design and translate into executable software code. Knowledge of algorithm and software development tools along with the critical software development methodologies necessary for successful building of software algorithms capable of meeting stringent performance requirements in an operational environment. Keen communication and analytic skills to facilitate the conduct of forensic analysis of digital signal processing algorithm software.

  • Algorithmic Design and Code – min 7 years exp.
  • MATLAB – min. 5 years exp.
  • C/C++ – min. 5 years exp.
  • Fortran – min. 3 years exp.
  • Advanced position degree with 7 – 12 years of experience or bachelors degree with 9 – 14 years of experience or equivalent. Entry positions with advanced degree and 3+ years of experience or bachelors degree with 5 + years of experience or equivalent

3) IBM Solutions Business Partner Architect

Description: This is a PSG senior level position with responsibilities to architect, develop and strategize PSG global solutions with IBM executives and researchers. Position requires senior business development of a robust relationship with IBM Systems and Software Acceleration, Information Management (Data Analytics), and advanced computing solutions. Successful candidate has a strong technical background with proven ability to commercialize global solutions through leveraging current and emerging technology trends. Develop business strategies with and foster relationships among associate companies, prime contractors, and academic researchers. Manage, direct and oversee day-to-day IBM Business partner commitments and revenue objectives. The successful candidate understands technology and has outstanding communication, business and sales skills.

4)  Data Scientist

Description: The Data Scientist conducts research and development in data analytics, modeling, and simulation.  The Data Scientist recognizes that decisions are increasingly made based on information derived from computational simulations or extracted and distilled from large collections of data obtained from diverse resources.  This key research position helps define the PSG Technology Roadmap and pursues fundamental research in multiple domains that add technology to assist with the development of new techniques and tools for use in complex systems engineering.  PSG Data Scientists apply scientific computing, visualization, cognitive science, statistics, machine learning and other specialties on research projects.
