Kristen Jaskie – R&D Manager
Kristen P. Jaskie, Ph.D., is a Principal Senior Machine Learning Research Engineer and R&D Program Manager at Prime Solutions Group. She specializes in machine learning, deep learning, and signal processing, with expertise in semi-supervised learning, positive and unlabeled learning, and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) applications. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Computer Science from the University of California San Diego and the University of Washington, respectively.
Kristen has led multiple government and industry-funded AI research initiatives, focusing on object detection, classification, continual learning, and active learning to optimize AI-driven decision-making. She has authored numerous publications, including a book on Positive Unlabeled Learning, and frequently presents at technical conferences. Her career spans both industry and academia, including serving as a professor and department chair, where she contributed to curriculum development and student mentorship. Kristen remains at the forefront of AI research, driving innovation in machine learning applications for real-world challenges.
Born and raised in Arizona, Kristen is a third-generation Arizonan—an uncommon distinction in a state known for its transplants. Outside of work, she enjoys adventure, travel, and reading, as well as spending time with her family and rescue dogs. She also has a deep appreciation for art and music and is a lifelong learner in all aspects of life. Kristen’s curiosity and drive to solve complex problems continue to shape her career as she pushes the boundaries of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
